Programmatic creation of overlay tabs, categories and elements. Mirrors the imperative pattern used by built-in tabs and exposes it to Luau scripts.

#rbxcli_ui.add_tab(name: string, icon: string?) → Tab

Registers (or returns existing) a script-owned tab in the Madius main window. Tabs slot in just before the Configuration tab.

Parameters

namestring

Tab display name. Reserved built-in names are rejected.

iconstring?

Optional icon hint (code, eye, joystick); defaults to the script glyph.

Returns

Tab

Proxy with :add_category(name, height?), :destroy(), .name.

Errors

  • LuaError reserved name -- Tab name is in the reserved set.
  • LuaError create failed -- The tab could not be created.

#rbxcli_ui.remove_tab(name: string) → boolean

since 1.8.3-free

Removes a script-owned tab by name.

Parameters

namestring

Returns

boolean

true if a tab was removed.

#rbxcli_ui.list_tabs() → { string }

since 1.8.3-free

Lists the names of all script-owned tabs.

#rbxcli_ui.clear() → any

since 1.8.3-free

Removes every script-owned tab and tears down all controls.
